Meet the Austin Team Behind Hale Windows Austin

We’re a crew of Austin window and door people, not a rotating cast of subcontractors you’ll never see again. Most of us have been turning wrenches and setting glass in Central Texas for a decade or more, through hundred-degree summers and the occasional ice storm that makes everyone suddenly care about weatherstripping. What holds us together is simple: we write the price before we start, we do the job the way we’d want it done on our own houses, and if something isn’t right, we come back and make it right under the 365-Day Done Right Promise. No argument, no shuffling of blame. You’ll know our names before we knock.

Our People

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been setting windows and hanging doors in the Austin area since 2011, and he’s the first person we send when a job has a tricky detail or an old frame that doesn’t want to cooperate. He’s our in-house specialist on PGT and CGI impact-rated lines, which matters in Austin when severe weather rolls through and homeowners want glass that can take a hit. Marcus is the one who walks the job site before anyone starts cutting, double-checking square and level so the install doesn’t fight us halfway through. Outside work, he restores old Toyota Land Cruisers in his garage in Cedar Park, which explains both his patience and his hatred of rust.

Daniela R., Senior Installer

Daniela came to us in 2015 after years in high-end residential construction, and she handles the installs where finish work matters just as much as function. Her specialty is Therma-Tru front door systems and the kind of trim work where an eighth-inch gap is the difference between looking sharp and looking sloppy. She’s also our go-to for low-E glass retrofits, pairing the right coating with the right orientation so west-facing rooms don’t turn into ovens in August. Daniela keeps a notebook in her truck with measurements from every job she’s done since 2016, and she will absolutely catch a discrepancy in a reorder. Her two dogs, both rescue mutts, have strong opinions about delivery drivers.

Elena V., Service Coordinator

Elena is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call us, and she’s been answering those calls since 2018. She schedules every visit, sends you the name and photo of the technician before they arrive, and makes sure the written price is in your hands before any work starts. That last part is non-negotiable around here, and Elena enforces it with the calm persistence of someone who has heard every pricing question a homeowner can ask. Before Hale, she worked in property management in South Austin, so she knows exactly what it feels like to be the person waiting on a contractor who won’t call back. She doesn’t let that happen on her watch.

Jordan P., Apprentice Installer

Jordan joined us in 2023 after finishing trade school and doing electrical rough-in work for a homebuilder in Kyle. He’s currently working toward his lead installer certification, spending most days on the truck with Marcus or Daniela learning how to read old framing, shim properly, and flash a window so it stays dry for thirty years. He’s also the one who double-checks that every job site is cleaner than we found it, which sounds small until you’ve stepped on a drywall screw in your own driveway. Jordan grew up in Round Rock and claims he can identify any high school in the Austin metro area by its football stadium. We have not yet found a reason to doubt him.

One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this page works under the same set of rules, whether it’s a two-hour window repair or a full-home replacement. The written price comes first, every time. The technician at your door is the one we told you about in advance: background-checked, identity-verified, photo-badged, and pre-announced by name and photo before the visit. We call this the Threshold Standard, and it applies to every job, no exceptions for a busy Friday or a small repair. If a repair doesn’t hold, the second visit is free. If the work isn’t right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we fix it. Hale Windows Austin is independently owned and operated as part of the Threshold Group family, and Spencer Odell runs this location the way he’d run his own house: with named people, written promises, and no mystery about who’s showing up for the work.
